Our story began with two teenagers who had absolutely no idea what life had in store for them. 
 

It started on an ordinary day, when a boy walked into a friend of a friend’s house and happened to meet the girl who lived there. It was a single interaction, a fleeting moment that neither of them could have known would mark the beginning of the rest of their lives. 
 

Before long, one weekend visit turned into every weekend. Somewhere between those shared laughs, late-night conversations, and ordinary moments, something extraordinary began to bloom. What started in the innocence of youth became a love that grew beautifully alongside us. 
 

Looking back now, it is almost impossible to believe how far we’ve come. Those two teenagers are now building a beautiful life hand-in-hand. Today, we share a home, two beloved cats, countless memories, and a future that we get to dream up and build together. 
 

We truly grew up together, standing side-by-side through life's defining chapters. We’ve celebrated each other’s highest triumphs and held each other tightly through the quiet, difficult moments. We’ve changed, matured, and figured out the complexities of life as a team. Through every version of ourselves, one truth remained entirely unchanged: we are, at our core, best friends. We have always been each other’s safe harbor, biggest supporter, and the person we want beside us through it all. 
 

Four years after that fateful first meeting, the same boy who once walked into that girl’s house decided it was time to ask her for forever. And while the girl may have had a distinct feeling a proposal was coming—largely because he isn't exactly built to keep secrets—that didn’t make the moment any less magical. It was entirely ours, and it was perfect. 
 

Now, we have the rare gift of celebrating the love that started when we were kids not just once, but twice. 
 

On March 26, 2027, our sixth anniversary, we will exchange our vows and marry in the beautiful landscapes of Costa Rica. Then, exactly one year later on March 26, 2028—our seventh anniversary—we will step into a grander celebration in California, surrounded by the family and friends we love most. 
 

Sometimes we look at each other and marvel at how the two kids who met all those years ago somehow ended up here. We feel incredibly blessed that God brought us together so young, allowing us to experience the world side-by-side. 
 

While we cannot predict what every upcoming chapter will bring, we have absolute certainty about who we want holding our hand through it all. We are profoundly grateful for the life we’ve built, the love we’ve nurtured, and every single step that led us to this moment. Our story started with two teenagers who happened to cross paths on an ordinary day, and it has become the greatest adventure of our lives. 
 

And this is only the beginning of our forever.
